INSTALLATION
INSTRUCTIONS

DIRECTIONS:
Refer to
cove base manufacturer’s specific recommendations.
Condition the area to be installed, adhesive and cove
base at 65°F (18°C) or above for 48 hours
before, during and 48 hours after installation. Walls
must be sound, smooth, dry, clean and free of dirt,
wax, polish, paint and all other foreign matter that
would interfere with a good bond.
- Use recommended trowel
to spread adhesive on the back of cove base or directly
to the substrate. Stay 1/8" away from top of
cove base to prevent adhesive oozing.
- Make sure an adequate
amount of adhesive is applied, especially on corners.
- Place cove base into
position. Butt joints neatly.
- Using a hand roller,
roll toward the previously installed section.

CLEANUP:
- Wet
Adhesive: Clean, white cloth dampened with soapy
water.
- Dried
Adhesive: Clean, white cloth dampened with mineral
spirits; carefully following warnings on the container.
